Position Review Committee

This committee will review all new and vacant faculty and staff postings in Stillwater. This will extend to temporary faculty positions and all staff promotional waivers that result in a vacant position being posted but does not include Agricultural Experiment Station and Extension faculty and staff positions.

 

The committee will meet every two weeks beginning on Tuesday, July 1, and is composed of the following members:

 

  • President Jim Hess
  • Provost and Senior Vice President Jeanette Mendez
  • Senior Vice President and Chief Financial & Administrative Officer Chris Kuwitzky
  • Senior Vice President Kyle Wray
  • Assistant Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Christa Louthan

To submit a position to the Position Review committee, the position description must be completed and approved within the PageUp system. At that time, those requesting a position to go before the committee should launch the job card for that position and access the Recruitment Approval Request Form from the side menu by clicking "Documents," then "Create Recruitment Brief."

 

FORM PROCESS GUIDE

 

This fully integrated Position Request process within the PageUp system, is designed to streamline approvals, align with our existing recruitment workflow and incorporates the faculty approval process consolidating all steps of the PRC request process into a single system. 

This updated process is effective for positions submitted after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5. Forms should be accessed via PageUp after this deadline. 

 

The job card may be completed and sent for approval prior to receiving a determination from the PRC. By doing so, once approval comes from the committee, the Talent Development and Recruitment team can post approved positions within 24 business hours. 

 

Completion of the form within the job card must be received by 5 p.m. one week prior to the bi-weekly meeting. Please reference the table below for dates and deadlines.
